More and more development teams are making the switch to Git, the powerful distributed version control system. It helps improve development team collaboration and accelerates feature delivery. There are a lot of ways Git is available to you, and the Microsoft development products have increasingly become Git friendly, powerful, and robust.
If you are wondering how a distributed version control system can increase collaboration, then you haven't seen the full potential of Git. Our courses are designed to teach you and your team how to make the transition to Git fast and easy. We start with the basic principles of what a distributed source control system means, what is the basic Git workflow for collaborative development, and builds from there to advanced topics.
Once training is complete, the InCycle team will work with you to help migrate some -- or all -- of your existing source code to use Git with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Visual Studio Team Foundation Services (VSTS). We will use industry best practices and provide guidance on how to best manage your collaborative workflow and branches.
